For PvE: I think 2H Weapons are the most fun (even if Dual Wield is the meta), they have a really cool "oomph" when skills hit. For the class: Templar skills are nice too, the spears can throw enemies back or make you go flying towards the enemy (there is a 2h skill like this too), plus some cool AoE attacks.Just because magicka, staff + class based dps > stamina dps. Not by a mile, but there's still some favouritism going on. You get all these extra perks by using class skills + staff.
