The reason I think it is not working is that you are not leaving the cell so theoretically you can leave and go back and it will reupdate if that doesn’t work then try getting the item elsewhere. Nov 11, 2014 · You are actually just clearing the merchant inventory from the Khajiit caravan that travels between Dawnstar and Riften. You would find their inventory empty, if you wish to trade with them. Merchants will reset after 2 days, but not if you are hanging around. To reset this chest you will have to leave the area for 2 days. They are the three Khajiit caravan chests that are easy to loot if you know where to look as they are above ground but invisible. My game runs without a single hitch, until I come across a Khajiit caravan. It looks like 4-5 boulders stacked up, along the Riften wall. At the very edge of the wall, closest to the largest boulder, there lies an invisible chest.
