Lim gasket 3800
Sounds like it could be leaky lower intake gaskets. This has been an on-going problem (very common on the 3.1 & 3.4's). When the lower intake gaskets get old, the seals around coolant ports begins to seep a bit. That would explain coolant in your oil. I wouldnt drive this thing until its fixed. so order a new upper intake manifold gasket, new valve cover gaskets, new fuel injector o-rings. Drain coolant/flush system and refill with new. When you finish installing all the gaskets and have everything together, drain the oil, and refill with new.The LIM Gasket failure on the 3800 II should be common knowledge to most mechanics, unless they are just shade tree mechanics, that is in my opinion. I read Engine Builder Magazine that the felpro gaskets use three concentric sealing beads to provide redundancy and can seal minor pitting but again..paranoid.. If yes, unbolt the tube from the EGR to LIM and look at each end holding it up to light. Move the holding piece around a bit. These thin tubes like to crack.
