Yes. In fact, they claim to have 'buffed' the exotic drop rate last season. And while large scale data seems to support that fact, it's still all RNG. It's a bell curve. Last week I did 9 runs of a lost sector before I got 1 exotic. Yesterday I did one and got one first try. You're at the far end of the curve. Good luck! Title Says all. I have run the same Legendary Lost sector for the New Titan helmet 10 times already. For as F**cking difficult as these are, it should have dropped by now. If it takes you 3 minutes to do legend and 8 to do master then master is not worth it. If it takes 4 minutes to do legend and 4:20 to do master then master is better. Master lost sectors do have a higher drop rate, but because legend can be run much faster it works out to be faster to farm legend instead of master.

Lost sectors are by far the best exotic farm. Over time Legends average out to ~20% drop rate, Masters to ~40% and you have the advantage of targeting a specific armor slot. Legend Lost Sector Exotic Drops. I was under the impression the new leg exotics (eg. path of burning steps) would drop first before other exotic armor when farming the legend and master lost sectors.
