New player making a Magus, Rate my Build. Hey all, 5e player trying out pathfinder 2e next week and wanted to get your all's opinion on my build. After reading about each of the classes, I really like the Magus for the magical swordsman type of trope. Spellstrike and Spell Combat allow the magus to deliver touch attach spells alongside normal attacks, which can make for some very impressive damage output. The Magus depends on intelligence and gets all knowledge skills, so a Magus can serve as the party’s librarian. Dervish Dancer is a Bard archetype, and Dervish Dance is a feat that a lot of Magus builds use because it gives you DEX to both attack and damage with a scimitar, thus making a pure DEX Magus build a lot easier to accomplish. But the Staff Magus is a less-popular build, but one that I actually think is a ton of fun.
